What we collect

You can read this website without signing in. If you sign in with Google to write in the condolence book, we receive your name, your profile photo and your email address from your Google account. We store your name, profile photo, your message, the place you write (if you enter one) and whether you lit a diya.

What is public

Your name, profile photo, place, message and diya appear publicly on the condolence wall. Your email address is never shown and is not shared with anyone.

How it is stored

Sign-in and storage are handled by Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Deleting your data

To delete your message, sign in on the condolence book and press Delete my message under your message. This removes it permanently.

To have your sign-in record removed as well, email ashwanisihag@gmail.com from the email address of the account you signed in with. We will delete it within 7 days. You can also remove this website's access from your Google account under Third-party connections.
